E-file bits can be tricky. They’re either quite expensive if you’re getting them from a reputable brand or so cheap on somewhere like amazon that it’s hard to know which to buy. Does it make a huge difference? Are they worth investing in? In my opinion, yes. I hate to say it, but I’ve used both high end and low end bits and the high end by far worked much better for me. Don’t get me wrong you can get things like mandrels for cheap and that won’t make a huge difference, but anything carbide or diamond is usually best to get from a company whose job it is to manufacture those alone. So let’s talk through my favourite bits, what I use them for, and what speed I run them at.
